KIRKLAND LAKE, ON – A Kirkland Lake cat fell just short in an international contest.
Diane LeClerc said Luna finished second in her group and will not be moving on.
“It has been an amazing journey to do this with her,” LeClerc said. “The competition was made even more beautiful by reading all the stories of the pets—strays, shelter animals, feral cats, and those with disabilities.”
LeClerc said Luna would like to thank everyone for sharing and voting.
“She went far this year thanks to everyone. We hope to see you all next year—and who knows, maybe we’ll even see some other northern beauties.”
